Compact mechanical platforms for edge intelligence
Embedded Chassis That Fit the Hardware and the Installation
Custom metal housings for controllers, gateways, vision systems and embedded computers where space, cooling and mounting options are tightly connected.
Review Your Embedded Layout
Small enclosure, interconnected decisions
Compact systems leave little room for mechanical mistakes
Moving a connector by a few millimeters can affect cable bend, board support, wall mounting or heatsink clearance. At Hengtai Leading Technology, we focus our DFM review on the relationships that make an embedded product easy to assemble and reliable in use.
Component stacking
Board, storage, power and cable envelopes organized within the smallest practical volume.
Heat transfer
Vents, conductive interfaces and external surfaces aligned to the thermal strategy.
Installation fit
Wall, DIN, VESA, flange or custom mounting features designed for the deployment.
Fanless concepts
Use the chassis as part of the thermal solution
For passive systems, metal selection, contact surfaces and external geometry influence how effectively heat leaves the processor zone.
- Flatness and interface control near thermal pads
- Aluminum construction for low mass and conduction
- Finish masking at conductive or grounding contact points
Forced-air concepts
Control entry, exit and obstruction
When fans are required, compact cable bundles and closely spaced boards can dominate pressure loss. The sheet metal should guide flow instead of merely adding holes.
- Purposeful inlet and exhaust open area
- Fan mounting and replacement access
- Internal baffles and cable restraint features
Applications at the edge
Mechanical packaging tailored to where computing meets the physical world.
Machine vision
Compact compute near cameras and production lines.
Industrial gateways
Networked control and protocol conversion devices.
Embedded controllers
Application-specific electronics integrated into equipment.
Manufacturing path
Prototype quickly, then stabilize the build
Review
CAD, board files, I/O map and mounting concept.
Prototype
Tool-free sheet metal build for physical validation.
Inspect
Critical fit, finish and interface dimensions checked.
Scale
Fixtures and instructions support repeat production.

Build a Continuous Passive Cooling Path
Passive cooling succeeds when heat can travel from the processor to the outer chassis with controlled contact pressure, low interface resistance and enough external surface area.
| Thermal stage | Design variable | Verification question |
|---|---|---|
| Heat source | Processor TDP, hot-spot location and operating profile | Is the worst-case thermal load defined? |
| Heatsink integration | Contact flatness, mounting force and tolerance stack | Will the interface remain compressed in production? |
| Thermal conduction | Spreader thickness, material and joint resistance | Is there an uninterrupted path to the housing? |
| Chassis rejection | External area, orientation and ambient airflow | Can the enclosure release heat at installation? |
