Beyond the outer shell
The chassis connects every part of the product
Mechanical packaging affects assembly time, heat transfer, EMC preparation, connector fit and the way customers perceive your equipment.
Internal location
PCB standoffs, card guides, partitions, cable anchors and power components are positioned from functional datums.
External interaction
Front panels, rear cutouts, removable covers and labels are designed for accurate fit and intuitive service.
Electrical continuity
Finish masking, grounding studs, seams and contact surfaces can be defined so coating does not undermine the design intent.
Appearance control
Grain direction, weld dressing, powder texture and packaging standards protect customer-facing quality.
Materials and surfaces
Match construction to electronics, environment and brand
Aluminum chassis
Lightweight packaging with anodized, chem-film or powder-coated options.
Steel chassis
Cost-effective rigidity with zinc plating and durable powder finishes.
Stainless chassis
Corrosion-resistant construction for clean or demanding environments.
A manufacturing route that preserves design intent
At Hengtai Leading Technology, we coordinate engineering review, fabrication, finishing and verification as one controlled production route.
DFM
Bends, holes, tolerances and hardware reviewed.
Fabrication
Laser, bending, welding and insertion in-house.
Finishing
Specified coating with masking and appearance control.
Verification
Dimensions, appearance and assembly checked.
Typical programs
Made for teams commercializing electronics
Bench, portable and rack-based instruments.
Clean, precise structures for device assemblies.
Controller and interface packaging for machinery.
Chassis for signal, network and RF-related systems.

EMC and Grounding Best Practices
Effective shielding depends on current paths, seam behavior and finish control. Grounding hardware added after coating rarely performs as predictably as a bonding strategy designed into the chassis.
| EMC objective | Recommended detail | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Shielding continuity | Overlapping seams and short fastener spacing | Long open slots at panel joints |
| Grounding | Dedicated studs close to current return points | Using random assembly screws as ground |
| Conductive coating | Specify coating type and measurable contact zones | Assuming decorative paint is conductive |
| Finish masking | Mask gasket lands, studs and bonding faces | Removing finish manually after assembly |
| Cable interfaces | Bond connector shells at panel entry | Long unshielded pigtails inside the chassis |
